I have been working in the television and radio broadcast fields for over 20 years with expertise from signal acquistion to final broadcast / distribution and everything in between. Areas of expertise include;
- Satellite reception (analog, digital, DC-II, PowerVue, VSAT, DBS, Simulsat)
- Video Servers (including 360 Systems, Omneon)
- Automation systems (including, Google/Maestro, Rivendell, VCI, TM/RT, Crispin)
- Audio and Video Distribution
- Audio Consoles (including Radio Systems and Wheatstone)
- Transmitters, including MSDC IOTs, Television, AM and FM Radio.
- Multiple tape formats (including Beta, D-Beta, DVC-Pro, uMatic)
- All manners of IT assets.
- FCC Regulations including Public Inspection File compliance.
I specialize in studio and transmitter site construction as well as ongoing maintenance and repair. Services can be provided on a one time as-needed basis or complete contract engineering services.
